ConwayCoaching 058BCU Three Star level indicates that you can consider yourself an intermediate paddler rather than a beginner.
The three star paddler will be a competent performer in sheltered to moderate water environments ( grade 2 ) and have the ability to paddle unsupervised, with similar standard paddlers on sheltered water.

Your 3 Star kayak is available as 1 or 2 day assessments the 2 day is normally done as a training assessment over the two days, where as the 1 day assessment is just that

During your Training and assessment we will be looking at
Personal Paddling Skills, Coving all your strokes and applying it to the WW environment,  looking at making it smooth and effortless for you as you move around the river
Rescue Skills, Covering self, team, victim, kit, the idea is to leave you a more capable member of any paddling team
Safety, Leadership & Group Skills, looking at what makes a safe team and how you can be an integral part of the whole process to make your decent down the river Fun and safeConwayCoaching 005
