This two day White water safety rescue course  is a full on intense experience packed full off rescue scenarios in a whitewater environment,
Over the two day course you will cover  awareness of safety principles , practice some personal survival techniques, and learn effective throw line, boat rescue and live bate techniques.


Pre requisites
Confident grade 2 paddler.
The ability to swim confidently, wearing normal paddling clothes
Be a minimum of 16 years of age
Equipment
At this Lv its expected you will have your own personal  paddling kit however if you feel you are lacking in anything please get in touch and kit hire may be available

Personal paddling Kit especially footwear suitable for scrambling around banks
Throwline – Floating high visibility rope, minimum length 15m, minimum diameter 8mm.
River Knife – sharp, safely stowed but easily accessible single-handed.
2 to 3 Karabiners – Locking HMS pear shaped anodised alloy karabiners.
An un-knotted 3 – 5m length of climbers tape webbing
Buoyancy Aid with quick release chest harness
Whistle
Kayak or canoe
