ireland 053For the aspirant 4* paddlers  the course is very much focused around those areas you feel are in need of strengthening and shoring up any experience gaps you may have, Please note  This course does not count towards, nor is it an official  4* training  but can be used as a refresher or top up of knowledge or experience before a Training or assessment,

The course can also be done by anyone who just want to upskill or gain leadership training without having to go down a certified route of doing a 4*

 

Course Pre-requisites

• experience of having paddled grade 3 water

• A consistent BCU 3 Star standard in kayak on whitewater

• The ability to swim confidently in moving water, wearing normal paddling clothes

What you need

  • In short your normal paddling kit, suitable for grade 3 paddling,
  • Buoyancy Aid, Helmet Cag & wetsuit ect.
  • Any Safety equipment, eg. Throw bags, Tapes, crabs First Aid kit
  • Packed lunch
  • Hot & cold drinks for the day
  • Snacks
